Sales CRM · built around the phone
The dialer isn't an add-on. It's the point.
Inboxsmith is a CRM for teams that live on the phone. The list, the power dialer and the voicemail drop are one product at one price — instead of a CRM, plus a dialer that doesn't quite talk to it, plus four add-ons.
500 founding seats at $19/user/month — about a fifth of what the cheapest competitor charges for a plan with a dialer in it.
The sticker price is never the price.
That's the normal shape of this category. You buy a CRM, then discover the power dialer is two tiers up. You add call intelligence. You add local presence. You add do-not-call checking, per user, per month. By the time the thing does what you bought it for, the bill has doubled.
We sell one plan. Everything in the list below is in it, and there is nothing else to buy from us.
One plan
No dialer tier, no feature gate, no per-seat add-on menu. $99 a seat is the whole product.
Month to month
No annual contract and no seat minimum. Annual billing exists as a discount, not as a term you're locked into.
Your carrier account
You connect your own Twilio. Your numbers, your registration, and no margin taken on your calling.
This is the whole product.
Not a mockup and not a highlight reel of the one good screen — these are captures of the app you get on day one. All of it in every seat: $19 on the founding rate, $99 after. There is no higher tier holding the good parts.
Sample data shown. Figures are illustrative and are not a claim about results you should expect.
Setup is a wizard, not a project.
Six steps, in order, with the app doing the work. You don't file a ticket and wait for someone to configure your account.
- 01
Connect your Twilio account
Paste your Account SID and Auth Token — calling runs on your own account, billed by Twilio directly.
- 02
Get a phone number
Search and buy a local number to call and receive from.
- 03
Record a voicemail drop
The one-click voicemail your reps drop during live calls.
- 04
Add your leads
Import a CSV, or add your first lead by hand.
- 05
Save a Smart List
A filtered segment of leads your team can dial in one click.
- 06
Invite your team
Your reps come in and each get their own seat.
Each card shows the shipped wizard screen for that step — captures, not mockups.
The one part we won't do for you
Twilio verifies who you are before you can dial — no vendor can skip that. For most people it's a ten-minute ID check: your details, a photo of your ID, a selfie. No business required. Ours cleared in minutes, and every feature worked after. Companies can file a full business profile instead — or add one later. The app tells you what Twilio asks for and picks up the moment you're approved.
Why you connect your own account
It's the unusual part of this product, and it's the part that protects you. Most dialers put every customer through one pooled carrier account they control. That single choice is where the lock-in lives.
| Pooled carrier account | Your own account | |
|---|---|---|
| Who owns the numbers | Often leased to you, and handed back when you leave | Bought in your name. You keep them, whatever happens to us |
| What calling costs | Minutes resold at a markup, or bundled into opaque "credits" | Carrier list price, billed to you directly. We take no cut |
| Whose registration | The vendor's shared profile covers you | Yours — you, or your business, verified in your own name |
| Your neighbours | Capacity and reputation shared with every other customer | Isolated. Nothing another company does reaches you |
| If you leave | Numbers and call history can go with the account | Your phone system stays up. You just stop paying us |
Pricing
One plan, priced per seat. Plus your own Twilio bill, which you pay Twilio directly and we take no cut of.

And your Twilio bill, honestly
Every Inboxsmith customer connects their own Twilio account. That's unusual, so here is the trade-off before you're in it rather than during onboarding.
What you get
- Your carrier account, your numbers, your registration. If you leave, you keep them.
- No margin taken on your calling. There's nothing for us to mark up.
- Carrier rates at cost — Twilio publishes about $0.014 a minute for US outbound and around $1.15 a month per number.
What it costs you
- A compliance review before you can dial. Twilio won't sell your account a number until a Trust Hub profile is approved. Their process, their clock, and nobody can shortcut it. In our own tests the Individual profile — an identity check, no business required — cleared in minutes, and the full Business review came back in 81 minutes — data points, not promises; some reviews take days.
- A second bill — roughly $45–95 per rep per month at heavy dialing, paid to Twilio, not to us. An estimate, not a quote.
Founding access — 500 seats
$19 per user per month, held for as long as you stay subscribed. Month-to-month, no contract, no seat minimum.
