Inboxsmith

For refrigerated carriers

Direct shippers don’t call you. You call them — again and again.

Getting off the load boards means a sales desk that works shipper lists week after week: produce houses, food plants, cold storage. That is outbound calling discipline, and a TMS has no tool for it.

Founding rate held for as long as you stay subscribed. Month-to-month, no contract.

The desk you actually run

Load boards tax every mile

Board freight pays broker rates. Direct shipper freight pays yours — but only after months of consistent calls that a spreadsheet will not remind anyone to make.

Shipper lists rot without cadence

The produce house that said "call me back in season" is revenue only if someone actually calls back in season. Timing is the whole game in reefer.

Your TMS is operations, not sales

Loads, trips, temps, drivers — a TMS has no customer-activity record and no call log, because it was never a sales system. Bolted-on dialing degrades into dialing by hand.

A calling desk for the relationship game

Inboxsmith keeps every shipper, contact and conversation on one record. Smart Lists slice your book by status, last-called and outcome — "not touched in 30 days", "never called", "said call back Q4" — and the power dialer works the list with voicemail drop and automatic outcome tracking. Reports show which reps are building the book and which shippers are warming up.

One plan. Nothing gated.

$19 per seat per month at the founding rate — held for as long as you stay subscribed. Every feature in every seat, including the owner's. No per-feature upsells, no "call us" tier.

You connect your own Twilio account, and Twilio verifies you before anyone can dial — for most people that's a quick ID check (details, a photo of your ID, a selfie); registered businesses can file a full company profile instead. Their process, their clock: our own ID check cleared in minutes and our business review took 81 — data points, not promises.

Questions reefer carriers ask us

What is a carrier sales CRM?+

A carrier sales CRM manages outbound shipper development — the leads, calls and follow-ups that move a carrier off load boards and onto direct freight. Inboxsmith is calling-first: a real power dialer, voicemail drop and call outcomes on every shipper record, not just a contact database.

We run a TMS. Why would we need this?+

Keep the TMS — it is your operations system. Across the TMS API surface there is no customer-activity record, call log or follow-up queue, because sales was never its job. Inboxsmith sits beside it and owns the sales motion.

How do we work a shipper list week after week?+

Save a Smart List like "produce shippers, not called in 14 days," sort never-called-first, and start a dial session. Outcomes land on the record automatically, follow-up tasks queue in the Inbox, and next week the list rebuilds itself from what actually happened.

Can dispatch and sales share the same records?+

Yes — leads and contacts are org-wide, so everyone sees the same shipper history. Per-seat daily calling budgets let you give a part-time caller a capped seat.

What about shippers who tell us to stop calling?+

Flag the record Do Not Call or upload a DNC list as bare numbers — the dialer skips them and manual dials are refused. Calling-hours guard also keeps calls inside each shipper’s local business window automatically.

How much does it cost?+

One plan, $19 per seat per month at the founding rate, held for as long as you stay subscribed — every feature in every seat.

Whose phone numbers are they?+

Yours — they live in your own Twilio account. Twilio verifies you (a quick ID check for individuals, or a business review) first, on their clock; our own ID check cleared in minutes and the business review in 81 — data points rather than promises.
