Google published its July 2026 Gemini Drop, the monthly roundup of what has changed in the Gemini app, and this edition carries two new models plus a handful of platform changes.

Google published its July Gemini Drop today, including two new Flash models and voice control on macOS.
Gemini on macOS now takes spoken commands in any active window, dictating text, transforming highlighted content, or generating visuals at the cursor. Avatars add you to images.
Google says Gemini three point six Flash and Gemini three point five Flash-Lite are available now with better reasoning and speed. Gemini also links to Dropbox, Zillow Rentals, and Viator.
Google calls Gemini Spark worldwide, but its own footnote excludes the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and Nigeria. Google says personalized images reach all United States users.
