Hermes Agent version zero point nineteen just launched, and it responds eighty percent faster.

Yesterday the team released the Quicksilver update to Hermes Agent, their open source terminal coding assistant, with faster startup, live reasoning streams, and safer command handling.

First token latency dropped about eighty percent, from four point three seconds down to zero point nine seconds, thanks to cold start optimization work.

New in this release: Smart Approvals reviews risky commands, Password Manager integration adds Bitwarden and 1Password, and Subagent Transparency shows live transcripts of delegated work.

The changelog spans about two thousand two hundred forty five commits from over four hundred fifty contributors since the previous version.
